HerTorah: High Holiday Conversations

INSPIRED CONVERSATIONS FOR THE NEW YEAR WITH SPECTACULAR EDUCATORS & LEADERS

This month of Elul, SVIVAH is taking a departure from our traditional HerTorah gatherings and instead -- bringing some phenomenal scholars and thinkers directly to you! All this month of Elul, in preparation for the High Holidays, we will be sharing the voices of some fantastic women* and how they are preparing to walk into this New Year.

We’re so glad to have you with us today, and we are blown away by the group of educators that we have lined up for you this month. They are fantastic and different and unique in their thinking and their eyes to the world -- we can’t wait to introduce you to all of them, and we hope that you’ll actually take advantage of opportunities to learn with and from them in this coming New Year -- so we’re going to be sure to let you know how you can find them.

We are excited to be lifting them up while they share teaching that lifts us up!

Sign up for the SVIVAH mailing list at www.svivah.org, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram so that you don’t miss any one of these phenomenal speakers. We can’t wait for you to meet them!

You won’t want to miss a single one of these incredible scholars! Sign up to get them right to your inbox!

So glad to be entering 5782 together with you.

HerTorah gathers together a diverse community of Jewish women to connect over our shared heritage, explore our collective wisdom, and elevate our communal experience in learning with and from one another.

HerTorah is directed by Rabbanit Aliza Sperling, made possible in part by funds granted by the Covenant Foundation & the Aviv Foundation, presented in partnership with Maharat, and inspired by each one of us.

SVIVAH is dependent on the generosity of those who choose to invest in a powerful community of women. As always, cost should never be a barrier to anything SVIVAH, but if you can, please help us show respect to our speakers/facilitators for their time and expertise. www.svivah.org/donate

*SVIVAH defines "Jewish woman" as anyone wishing to be included in a circle of Jewish women. If you want to be here, we want you to be here.
