What Does It Feel Like Living Jewishly Right Now Inside/Outside?
Fear, Pride, Complicated, Connected, Alone, Committed, All of the Above
Featuring Rabbi Dorothy Richman, Chanie Chein, Rabbi Amy Wallk, PhD, Mollie Andron, Rabbi Emily Meyer, and R’ Dalia Davis
Living Jewishly in the diaspora now may feel different than it did before October 7th.
We may be feeling more fearful. We may be seeking new opportunities to express our Jewish identity. We may be struggling with the regular challenges of being Jewish in the diaspora during the December holidays in a different way this year.
This gathering is an opportunity to delve into these feelings together, guided by experts who will share their wisdom, stories, and insights — holding us through our collective processing.
Come be with us.
It is a lot for any of us to navigate alone.
Rabbi Dorothy Richman will help guide us in ways to fill our spiritual reservoirs to navigate these (and other) challenging times.
Chanie Chein will talk about facing fears.
Rabbi Amy Wallk, PhD will address the “December Dilemma.”
Mollie Andron will explore these new conversations around identity and “peoplehood.”
We will also have the option to express what we are experiencing through a creative art process (no art expertise required; just a pen, paper, and some markers if you have them) led by Rabbi Emily Meyer.
It’s better to be together.
Come when you can, stay till you can’t. But, come. Our learning is incomplete without you.
Join us Tuesday 12/19 @ 8:00-9:30pm ET
Please invite someone you think might want to be with us, too.
