Havdalah Together
With Rabbanit Dalia Davis, Felicia Sloin, and more
“Shavua tov”, may it be a good week. That’s what we say when Shabbat ends and the week begins. May it be a good one.
Words that are themselves a prayer. Words filled with hope.
Join us this Saturday evening for Havdalah Together.
Starting the week together... with prayer, with song, with light. With each other.
Please invite someone you think might want to be with us, too.
If you have it, bring along something to light — a small candle, a flashlight, bring something nice to drink, and bring something that smells good to you — a spice from your kitchen cabinet, a perfume, some flowers, even fresh laundry. Whatever you find pleasant. And don’t worry if you don’t have any of these items — we’ll have you covered!
(Please note: We recognize that the timing of this gathering may begin before Shabbat ends where you live. Please know we do our best to include as many people in our wide-ranging community as possible! This gathering will be recorded and shared — so even if you miss some of it, register and we can send you the recording in full. Thank you for understanding!)
This gathering welcomes women* 12+ and learners of all backgrounds.
SVIVAH is dependent on the generosity of those who choose to invest in a powerful community of women. As always, cost should never be a barrier to anything SVIVAH, but if you can, please help us show respect to our speakers/facilitators for their time and expertise. www.svivah.org/donate
